Toom speaks his truth

Listening to Amani Toomer speak, I think he is frustrated. From the video, watch his facial expressions and look into his eyes. I think Toomer knows the Giants wasted a golden opportunity to repeat as champions. In addition, he is upset at the coaching staff for minimizing his role in the offense. I do not think he "threw Coughlin under the bus". He is voicing his difference in opinion about the Giants game plan. Toom clarified his comments on his web site.

When a team loses in football, the media reacts. There is a knee jerk reaction to place blame and label someone as a scapegoat. Generally speaking, I think some people do this to make themselves feel better.

Needless to say, in the divisional playoff game, I am convinced the Eagles were the better team that day.
