From the New York Posts' Richard Wilner, the Giants have reduced the price on the 4,000 unsold seats.
From a letter which was sent to Giants season ticket holders: "Those seats are outside the field of play, which means they are more of an end zone seat than a sideline seat," the letter reads. "After having an opportunity to sit in those seats, we feel strongly that we should create a different price point.
According to the Post article, Marked-down club seat tickets, which carry a $7,500 personal seat license fee, which will remain unchanged, will now cost fans $250 per game instead of $400 a game -- a savings of $1,500 a season for the 10-game slate.
Here is Giants co-owner John Mara on the price reduction:
"I think it's the right thing to do," co-owner John Mara said.
Although I think Mr. Mara did the right thing by lowering the price on these overpriced seats, I do not think this will make people buy what they are selling.

I am getting so sick of the money game. I'm not sure they even needed a new stadium they just need to keep up with everyone else in the league. Why do the Jets still need to share a stadium with the Giants? Is there another reason besides money that they didn't include a retractable dome in the new stadium it would help Eli become an elite quarterback.
Harry,
I agree with you. The Giants did not need this new stadium. More luxury suites=more money. http://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=article.main&articleId=56268 Without a dome, the Giants/Jets venture's final price tag is 1.6 billion. Inital projections for PSL Stadium was around 800 to 900 million. Putting a dome on top of this boondoggle would have cost over 2 billion.
Harry, it is all about the money.
