Sinorice Moss

Here is Sinorice Moss on ESPN radio.

Vegas has the Giants as an over or under for 10 wins. Moss scoffs at the notion. He thinks the Giants are not getting respect. In my opinion, in recent memory, with the only exception of Super Bowl XLII, Las Vegas is usually right on. I think the loss of Plaxico and Eli's performance late last season factored in Vegas' odds. It is my opinion, the 2009 season rests on Eli Manning's shoulders. If he plays at a high level, the Giants win more than 10 games. If Eli regresses, the Giants win eight or nine games.

i put the gmen in for 10-13 wins--same with philly. depends on injuries, which the giants have more depth. everyone focuses on plax and amani, who are big losses, but the young receivers are faster and they should improve a lot. also bshaw, ware, or brown are faster than ward. but i think the defense will see the most improvement though with osi back--huge--and the young secondary growing significantly.

Xtian,

I think you are right on.
Excellent comment. Eli did tell me Plax was one of the reasons the Giants slipped in the Red Zone in 08. They have to improve in this area in 2009.
