Why carry multiple mediocre LBs, and for that matter WRs, when Secondary talent was so thin? Safety is rapidly becoming a more important position, and teams who lose their star Safety (e.g. Giants, Steelers) have real trouble winning games, especially if they don&amp;#39;t have a shut down corner (and very, very few teams do... the Giants certainly don&amp;#39;t) the Safeties can count on. JR and Coughlin must sign top Safety and LB talent, and shed slow and relatively unathletic LBs and WRs to make room. No more &amp;quot;good guy&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;non stop motor&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;locker room veteran presence&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;smart&amp;quot; to describe Giant LBs. This isn&amp;#39;t about who you&amp;#39;d like to drink beers with! How about &amp;quot;very fast&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;extremely fluid changing direction&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;never out of position&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;intimidates everyone because he always brings the wood&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;can cover most TEs over the middle&amp;quot;? Boley sure would like to look to the middle and other outside and see guys who personify those attributes. Go get em, or reserve your 9-7 record in 2010 now.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/3647407325675135492/7280688218743909463/comments/default/348083335787919150'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/3647407325675135492/7280688218743909463/comments/default/348083335787919150'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://newyorkfootballgiantstalk.com/2010/01/play-which-ended-2009-giants-season.html?showComment=1264280237774#c348083335787919150' title=''/><author><name>Anonymous</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://newyorkfootballgiantstalk.com/2010/01/play-which-ended-2009-giants-season.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647407325675135492.post-7280688218743909463' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/3647407325675135492/posts/default/7280688218743909463' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
